Nearly There

I want to wish you all a happy new year and give you a quick update on Slack Jaw. I’ve just finished the latest draft. It clocks in at 147,379 words, a bit longer than I was expecting. The next round of edits will take a fraction of the time to work through, focusing on rooting out any missed stitches. After that it’s off to the editor and will be available to read soon after.

Now this is the fun part. It’s like setting up a house of horrors, directing the monsters and placing the bodies with care before inviting people in.
